Hi folks
Seeing as the interior design posts went down so well last week I thought I would do another one. I really wanted to try and recreate the style my step mum effortlessly recreates in her home. So last time I was there I took the time to look at the wallpaper and paint she used.
I was so surprised to find that she uses very dark colours but it doesn't feel dank or dark at all. I usually steel clear from colours on all walls as I presumed it would feel too claustrophobic. Don't get me wrong it can but as she couples it with tasteful furniture it works.
I am not so brave yet to go for colours as dark as she does, so instead I chose to incorporate colour on all walls rather than a feature wall. Taking baby steps here people!
