This little gadget on my phone is brilliant. The difference when I am using it versus when I am not is huge. As you have to write down what you're eating it makes you realize how many calories you're really consuming. I thought I was realistic with myself before I got this app but I clearly wasn't! I am going to start using it again from today as I desperately need to get back on the weight loss.
Despite my recent LWGS posts I've been treading water weight wise! I haven't been going to the gym regularly, just once a week which is not enough for me to loose weight, and I've had a few nights out which ruins my diet for a good two days.
But I was given such a boost to finally get on track, well we'll see how it goes but I'm really optimisitic! My sisters wedding is in August and the first dress try on is in March. We already have the bridesmaid dresses from our brothers wedding so the day is to take our mesaurements again and take in the dresses if needs be.
Not wanting to be embarressed in front of my family if it turns out I'm still the same size as before I decided to try on my dress at the weekend. Huge relieve; its too big for me :D Also I now fit into my sisters dress and she was about half the size of me at the wedding! Big ego boost!
I knew I weighed less than before but I still felt like I looked a similar size, so to have proof I look smaller made me feel amazing!
So spurred on by this I am aiming to be even smaller by the try on in March. I want to be at least 6lbs lighter so the dress looks even better. Its going to be tough but certainly achievable. Really excited, nervous and scared. Wish me luck :)
Current weight: 61kg = 134lbs = 9 stone 8lbs
16th March Aim: 58.3kg = 128lbs = 9 stone 2lbs
